On March 10, 2026, Mai Ishikawa, Director of ALBACONNECT Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Marco Akira Sakuta), took part in the "Women Leaders Summit" hosted by the general incorporated association Toget-HER, and made an action declaration toward the goal of "30% women in decision-making positions by 2030."
The summit brought together the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, local government representatives and many leaders active in a wide range of fields, who discussed and shared insights on expanding women's participation in decision-making.
Speaking on behalf of the company, Ishikawa focused on the importance of decision-making opportunities in the early stages of a career and made recommendations from the following perspectives:
- Creating opportunities for young people to think proactively about their careers from an early stage
- Closing the gap in access to information and role models
- Designing environments that continuously support growth into decision-making roles
We believe these efforts not only expand individual growth opportunities but also form a foundation for improving the quality of decision-making across organisations and society as a whole.
We will continue to promote the following initiatives:
- Supporting the design of environments in which diverse people can take part in decision-making
- Providing career development opportunities for the younger generation
- Advancing initiatives that connect social issues with technology
ALBACONNECT Inc. will continue to maximise the potential of technology and people, and contribute to a sustainable and diverse society.
