Visit to Leading Universities in India to Strengthen AI Talent Recruitment

ALBACONNECT Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Marco Akira Sakuta) visited Chennai and Bangalore, India, with the aim of expanding its global AI and data business and acquiring talent.

In Chennai, we visited three universities: Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT) and Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), where we held exchanges, talks and discussions with students and faculty.
At Sathyabama in particular, we gave a talk to around 40 students and held several group discussions, which gave us a first-hand look at the strong technical skills and motivation of the next generation.

At each university, we also presented our vision of building a new industrial foundation through data, AI agents and advanced technology, which was met with strong interest and support.

In Bangalore, we then observed the local technology and startup ecosystem, and were reminded that India may become a key hub in the global AI field.

Going forward, we will consider and pursue the following initiatives:

- Strengthening AI talent recruitment through partnerships with Indian universities
- Building joint projects and long-term collaboration with educational institutions
- Considering a new base in Bangalore (development, recruitment and innovation functions)
